Videos showing gunfire in various provinces of Turkey and abroad for Can Dalton, the leader of the "Daltonlar" crime organization, have spread on social media. During the operations, 8 people, including children, were detained, and long-barreled weapons were seized from the homes of some suspects. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that the fight against criminal organizations will continue.
Members of the criminal organization known as the 'Daltons' shared armed videos on social media for their leader Beratcan Gökdemir (Can Dalton). In footage recorded in various locations across Turkey and abroad, gang members were seen firing into the air with long-barreled weapons on the streets.
SHOW VIDEOS CAME FROM EVERYWHERE In a video shot in Pendik, Istanbul, a person speaking on behalf of a masked group said, "We have devoted ourselves to you… Happy birthday to Istanbul's ambassador Can Dalton." The group then fired their weapons into the air. Similar footage was shared from Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpaşa, Sefaköy, Maltepe, Bağcılar, Mahmutbey, Şirinevler in Istanbul, as well as from Mardin, Izmir, and abroad.
Dalton gang leader Can Dalton OPERATION: 8 SUSPECTS DETAINED As part of the investigation conducted by the Organized Crimes Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, eight suspects, including two children, connected to the Dalton gang were detained. During a public order operation, the suspects were found to be wearing ski masks and gloves. Phone examinations revealed that the suspects received instructions from abroad and posed with banners featuring photos of gang leader Can Dalton. As the investigation expanded, a person identified as supplying weapons to the organization was captured in Bahçelievler.

AK-47, M16, 2 Thompson submachine guns, 3 unlicensed handguns, A banner featuring the gang leader's photo YERLİKAYA: WE WILL CUT OFF THEIR BREATH Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared footage of the Istanbul Police operation, stating, "We are relentlessly fighting against organized crime groups… We will continue to cut off the breath of criminal organizations."
WHO IS CAN DALTON? Beratcan Gökdemir, the leader of the "Daltons" group, is wanted by Interpol with a red notice. The indictment against him demands a prison sentence ranging from 711 years to 1,281 years. The charges include:

The indictment also states that Gökdemir had a disagreement with Barış Boyun, the leader of a criminal organization he previously collaborated with, and that he was identified as an instigator in the recent murder of lawyer Serdar Öktem.
