A "village for sale" listing in Şanlıurfa has drawn attention. It was stated that 1.5 billion Turkish Liras, approximately 30 million dollars, was asked for a 7,500-decare plot of land in the area known as Külünçe Village.
An advertisement reminding of the unforgettable village sale scenes from the movie "Züğürt Ağa" starring Şener Şen came from Şanlıurfa. An extraordinary real estate listing covering an area stated to be 7,500 acres in the city became a hot topic. It was reported that 1 billion 500 million TL was demanded for the properties put up for sale in the region known as Külünçe Village. This amount is said to correspond to approximately 30 million dollars.
The listing, announced as "village for sale," drew attention not only because of the massive size of the land but also due to the residential areas in the region.
1.5 BILLION TL ASKED
According to information in the local press, the price set for the sale in the Külünçe region is 1.5 billion TL. Considering the total area is 7,500 acres, the asking price per acre is approximately 200,000 TL.
While Külünçe is also referred to as a neighborhood in official records, the term "Külünçe Village" has been used in the region for many years.
In the stated details of the sales listing, it was emphasized that the land could be evaluated for agricultural and livestock investments. However, there is a striking difference among sources regarding the size of the area offered for sale.
