As the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, we strongly condemn Israel's despicable attacks on Syria, especially in the capital, Damascus. We reiterate that we stand by the people of Syria, who have suffered greatly for many years. We emphasize in the strongest terms that we support Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty and that we oppose all actions that threaten the peace of the friendly and brotherly people of Syria.
We express that peace and stability in Syria will also serve the peace and stability of the region, and that contrary developments will only benefit Netanyahu and his team, who base their existence on blood and conflict. We declare that we will continue to make every effort for peace, stability, security, and a peaceful environment in our region, just as we have done until now.
