GENERAL STAFF: INVESTIGATION WILL CONTINUE
The Israeli General Staff announced that the return to duty of the Israeli army's 100th Unit soldiers involved in the rape of a Palestinian detainee with a foreign object would not hinder the investigations to be conducted against them and that the process would be completed as soon as possible.
RAPE FOOTAGE WAS PUBLISHED
Israel's Channel 12 television broadcast moments when the soldiers surrounded the Palestinian detainee during the rape and tried to hide the footage from cameras. After the incident, an investigation was launched against the soldiers on charges of "torture, perversion, and attempt to violate bodily integrity," and 9 soldiers were detained.
RAID ON THE BASE BY FAR-RIGHTISTS
