An important decision has been made that directly concerns the citizens living in Istanbul.
ISTINYE-ÇUBUKLU CAR FERRY LINE IS BEING DISCONTINUED
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) announced that the Istinye-Çubuklu Car Ferry Line, operated by its subsidiary Şehir Hatları, will be closed at the end of July. Instead of the car ferry, sea taxi services specifically for passenger transportation will be launched.
IT WAS THE PREFERENCE OF THOSE WHO DID NOT WANT TO GET STUCK IN TRAFFIC
The line, which operated 46 round trips between the districts of Sarıyer and Beykoz on weekdays, was the choice of citizens who did not want to get stuck in traffic between the two shores. In the future, citizens wishing to cross to the European or Anatolian side with their vehicles will have to use the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, or Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.
