A parked metrobus in Zincirlikuyu, Istanbul, skidded and collided with four cars. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries in the accident, but the Anadolu direction of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge was temporarily closed to traffic.
A moving metrobüs at the Zincirlikuyu stop lost control for an undetermined reason, broke through the barriers, and entered the D-100 highway. The metrobüs was able to stop after hitting 4 cars that were traveling on the highway.
15 JULY MARTYRS BRIDGE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
The impact of the collision caused the vehicles to scatter, leading to the closure of the highway, and traffic flow towards the 15 July Martyrs Bridge completely stopped. Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification, and security measures were taken in the area.
LUCKILY, NO CASUALTIES OCCURRED
Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries in the accident, but significant damage occurred to the vehicles. After the teams removed the vehicles from the highway, the road was cleared, and traffic flow returned to normal.
