DOUBLE LIFE IMPRISONMENT, 17 YEARS AND 7 MONTHS IN PRISON

Defendant Hüseyin Sönmez denied the allegations during the hearing and requested his release. However, the court ruled that Sönmez committed the murder, considering all the evidence. The murderer of the siblings was sentenced to double life imprisonment for premeditated murder with intent to inflict severe pain or suffering against a child, as well as for theft, violation of the inviolability of the home, possession of a prohibited knife, and other crimes at the highest limits.

THE DECISION MADE THE FAMILY HAPPY

After the hearing, the mother of the deceased siblings, Ayşegül Şimşek, expressed her gratitude for justice, stating, "I thank justice first and foremost. They gave me what I wanted, and everyone was by my side. I thank each of them separately. Killers like this should not live in this world. They gave the heaviest sentence. But I will not give up on this case. I will do everything I can to find out who is behind this. My mother became an emergency case because of what happened to the children. I want whoever is behind this to be punished. The suspect denies the charges, but everything is clear with the footage. May they not have an easy death. My children suffered, and they should suffer too. I think there are others behind this. Because a person cannot be this relaxed. He seems to know everything about me in advance. Someone is helping him. Whoever is behind this should come forward and speak, or it will be found out somehow. My children will not come back. I hope the same thing happens to them."
