It was determined that the suspect had 44 previous criminal records and was arrested, while it was learned that his accomplice is still being sought. The moments when the suspects fled after the theft were captured on security cameras.
In the incident that occurred on April 20 at Murat Paşa Neighborhood, Karakol Street, thieves entered B.Ç.'s house and, unable to open the home safe in the bedroom, stole it by putting it in a bag. After the incident, B.Ç. reported to the police and stated that the safe contained jewelry worth approximately 7 million lira. The Theft Bureau teams, who initiated an operation to catch the thieves, determined that the suspects were captured on security cameras fleeing with the stolen items after the incident. In the footage, two female suspects were seen calmly leaving the area.
ONE SUSPECT ARRESTED, THE OTHER IS BEING SOUGHT
Examining the footage and identifying their identities and addresses, the police conducted operations on two houses in Başakşehir and detained suspect N.U. Brought to the Public Order Branch Directorate for interrogation, it was determined that N.U. had 44 previous criminal records and was wanted. After the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and arrested, then sent to prison. It was stated that efforts to capture the suspect's accomplice are ongoing.
