TRUMP: I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM ZELENSKY
Evaluating the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump said, "The US has sent hundreds of billions of dollars in support for Ukraine's defense. We spent 350 billion dollars, while Europe spent 100 billion dollars. I received a letter from Ukrainian President Zelensky. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table. 'We are ready to work for peace under Trump's strong leadership,' he said. KREMLIN RESPONDS TO TRUMP'S STATEMENTS
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov evaluated the current issues in the capital Moscow. Peskov commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's letter to US President Donald Trump, stating that they are "ready to sit at the negotiating table as soon as possible for a lasting peace," saying, "We view this positively, but there is a question of who we will sit at the table with. Peskov also mentioned the possibility of negotiations being held in Belarus, stating that Minsk is a suitable place for negotiations, but this has not yet been discussed. Spokesman Peskov noted that in a future meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, they could address cooperation regarding rare earth elements, but there is no plan in this regard.
