In the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, our national boxer Busenaz Sürmeneli advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating Aneta Rygielska from Poland 4-1 in the women's 66kg round of 16. Busenaz, who won the gold medal in women's boxing 69kg at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, became the first female athlete to win a championship in Turkish boxing history.

The women's 66kg round of 16 in the boxing branch took place at the North Paris Arena in the capital of France, Paris. Our national boxer Busenaz Sürmeneli, the reigning Olympic champion, advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Aneta Rygielska from Poland 4-1 in the women's 66kg round of 16.
