According to the inflation data for the past five months, the salary increase for civil servants in July has started to take shape. With a 14% increase, the salaries of many public employees, ranging from teachers to doctors and from police officers to engineers, are rising.

With the inflation data for May announced by TÜİK, millions of civil servants have turned their eyes to salary increases. While the five-month inflation rate is calculated at 15.09%, the 14% increase rate for civil servants and retired civil servants has almost become guaranteed. Although the June inflation has not yet been clarified, new salary estimates have been shaped according to titles.

INCREASED SALARIES BY TITLES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The estimated new salaries based on the increase are as follows:

Specialist doctor salary: 109,126 TL → 124,403 TL

Professor salary: 96,346 TL → 109,834 TL

Engineer salary: 67,663 TL → 77,136 TL

Teacher salary: 52,906 TL → 60,313 TL

Police officer salary: 58,910 TL → 67,158 TL

Research assistant salary: 63,848 TL → 72,787 TL

Lawyer salary: 63,609 TL → 72,514 TL

Nurse (university graduate) salary: 53,437 TL → 60,918 TL

Technician (high school graduate) salary: 47,195 TL → 53,803 TL

Branch manager: 66,329 TL → 75,615 TL

Civil servant (university graduate): 45,527 TL → 51,901 TL

Expert teacher: 58,634 TL → 66,843 TL

Chief inspector: 65,070 TL → 74,180 TL

Preacher: 55,303 TL → 63,046 TL

JUNE INFLATION IS EXPECTED, NUMBERS WILL BE CLARIFIED

These increases are not yet official. The increase rate will be finalized in July after the announcement of the June inflation. However, according to current estimates, it is not expected to fall below the 14% increase.

The listed figures may vary according to degree, step, educational status, and additional payments. Therefore, civil servants can see the individual difference by roughly applying the 14% increase to their own salaries.
