HOSPITAL HIT IN IDLIB
It has been reported that the Assad regime, supported by the Russian Air Force, has attacked a hospital in Idlib. The attack was carried out by Russian warplanes on Ibn Sina Hospital. Footage of the attack was also featured on Qatar-based Al Jazeera. In that footage, the parking lot at the back of the hospital is seen to have been hit.
At the moment the Russian warplanes struck the hospital, doctors and medical personnel were inside. As a result of the explosion, that part of the hospital was devastated. In another footage, those receiving treatment at the hospital can also be seen at the moment of the explosion.
ERDOGAN AND PUTIN DISCUSSED SYRIA
Meanwhile, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to a statement from the Presidency's Communication Directorate, the meeting addressed Turkey-Russia relations, the latest developments in Syria, and global and regional issues.
During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that Turkey continues to support Syria's territorial integrity while also striving for a fair and lasting solution in Syria, emphasizing the importance of opening more space for diplomacy in the region, and noted that the Syrian regime should engage in the political solution process during this period.
