HISTORIC BUILDING TO GAIN NEW FUNCTION
Located in Üsküdar and used for educational purposes for many years, the Adile Sultan Pavilion is widely known for hosting the shoots of the 'Hababam Class' series, a cult classic of Turkish cinema. The structure, reaching the present day from the Ottoman era, will serve as the headquarters of the Banks Association of Turkey, an important institution in the banking sector.
THE SCHOOL IN MEMORIES FROM HABABAM CLASS
In the 'Hababam Class' films shot in the 1970s, the pavilion appeared before audiences as 'Private Çamlıca High School', evolving into a cultural icon over the years. While the historic building continued to be used for various purposes after restoration work, it has most recently become the new address of the Banks Association of Turkey.
