The lifeless body of Tekin Atılgan, a retired geological engineer who had been working as a laborer at an ice cream factory in Aksaray and had been missing for 13 days, was found inside a refrigerator by the roadside. The suspect, who worked at the same factory as the retired engineer and is believed to have shot Atılgan with a gun, was captured and taken into custody in Kayseri, where he was hiding.

Relatives of Tekin Atılgan (54), who has been divorced twice and is a father of two, reported him missing to the police on August 17 after they could not reach him. The teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch, which initiated an investigation, found Atılgan's car abandoned. SHOT DEAD WITH A GUN



Tekin Atılgan's body was taken to the morgue of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy. The autopsy revealed that Atılgan had been shot dead with a gun.



WORK COLLEAGUE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY



The police determined that the vehicle carrying the body belonged to Y.C.K., who worked at the same workplace. Y.C.K., who is understood to have shot and killed Atılgan, was also taken into custody yesterday in Kayseri, where he had fled and hidden. Y.C.K. was brought to the Aksaray Police Department for questioning. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
