The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, announced that 18,099 rights holders have been identified so far in the Century Housing Project. Minister Kurum also announced the lottery dates for the 500,000 social housing project. The lottery draw for Ankara will take place on February 5 with the participation of President Erdoğan, and for Istanbul, it will be held between March 9-12.

Minister Kurum reported that 18,099 rights holders have been identified so far in the Century's Social Housing Project and announced the lottery draw dates for Istanbul and Ankara.

"THE MOST APPLICATIONS CAME FROM ISTANBUL"

Minister Kurum stated, "The applications of 5 million 242 thousand citizens were deemed valid. The most applications for our project came from Istanbul with 1 million 235 thousand 169 citizens. There were 287 thousand 94 applications from Ankara and 221 thousand 921 from Izmir. We started the lottery draws on December 29 in our earthquake region. We first drew lots in Adıyaman. We also held ceremonies in Şırnak, Hakkari, Siirt, and Van," he said.

"HOMEOWNER TURKEY" CAMPAIGN OFFERS TERMS UP TO 240 MONTHS

Within the scope of the campaign conducted under the slogan "Homeowner Turkey," houses will be offered for sale with a 10% down payment and payment options of up to 240 months. It was stated that the houses will be designed as 1+1 and 2+1 in accordance with the horizontal architectural understanding and traditional texture.

HOUSING TYPES AND NUMBERS ANNOUNCED

The project will include a total of 500 thousand houses:

  • 40% (200 thousand) will be 2+1 houses of 80 square meters,
  • 30% (150 thousand) will be 2+1 houses of 65 square meters,
  • The remaining 150 thousand will consist of 1+1 houses of 55 square meters.

QUOTAS DISTRIBUTED

In the project, special quotas have been allocated for the relatives of martyrs and veterans, the disabled, retirees, youth, and families with three or more children. Accordingly, the distribution of rights holders will be as follows:

  • 5% for martyr families and veterans
  • 5% for the disabled
  • 20% for retirees
  • 10% for families with three or more children
  • 20% for youth aged 18-30
  • 40% for other buyers

PRICES AND INSTALLMENTS DIFFER IN ISTANBUL AND ANATOLIA

Housing prices and installment amounts have been determined separately for Istanbul and Anatolian provinces. In Anatolia:

  • 1+1 houses are 1 million 800 thousand TL (installment 6 thousand 750 TL)
  • 65 m² 2+1 houses are 2 million 200 thousand TL (installment 8 thousand 250 TL)
  • 80 m² 2+1 houses are 2 million 650 thousand TL (installment 9 thousand 938 TL)

In Istanbul:

  • 1+1 houses are 1 million 950 thousand TL (installment 7 thousand 313 TL)
  • 65 m² 2+1 houses are 2 million 450 thousand TL (installment 9 thousand 188 TL)
  • 80 m² 2+1 houses are 2 million 950 thousand TL (installment 11 thousand 63 TL)

DELIVERIES IN MARCH 2027

It is planned that the delivery of houses within the scope of the project will start in March 2027. Minister Kurum stated that although the target for the delivery schedule is set for 2027, there are also houses that will be delivered within 2026.
