In the case where Adnan Oktar is being tried, the Silivri District Gendarmerie Commander Fatih Torun, who brought meatball sandwiches to the defendants from outside, has been dismissed from his position. It has been alleged that Torun had connections with Oktar.
"Leadership of an armed criminal organization" and many other crimes, Adnan Oktar, who received a sentence of 8,658 years, has been involved in an interesting development. During a hearing held in the courtroom within Silivri Prison, Oktar's actions towards Major Torun, who ordered meatball sandwiches from outside for Oktar and 11 other defendants being tried alongside him, turned out to be costly.
MAJOR WHO BROUGHT FOOD TO OKTAR REMOVED FROM DUTY
A report was filed against Major Torun on the charge of "bringing prohibited substances into the prison." As part of the investigation initiated, Torun was removed from duty.
ALLEGATION OF "CLOSE RELATIONS WITH OKTAR"
The allegations against Torun did not stop there. It was claimed that Major Torun had close relations with individuals previously detained in cases related to Adnan Oktar and his group, and that he treated Oktar and his men preferentially within the prison.
"HE REBUKED THE NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER WHO WARNED OKTAR"
In another hearing, it was alleged that he rebuked a noncommissioned officer who warned Adnan Oktar in front of everyone, and that many complaints had previously been made to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command regarding him.
