The messages of the teacher had been exposed! The punishment for the teacher who sent sexually explicit messages to his student has been determined.

The disgusting incident occurred at a high school in the Selçuklu District of Konya. A 15-year-old student, B.D., who is in the 10th grade, told her family last April that her geography teacher, M.K. (55), had sent her sexually explicit messages via WhatsApp and Instagram. The young girl also stated that her teacher tried to kiss her while dropping her off at home and physically harassed her at school. Following the family's complaint, M.K. was detained and arrested.

HARASSMENT MESSAGES REVEALED

In the case opened by the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and heard at the 16th Criminal Court of First Instance, M.K. denied the allegations against him, but the messages he sent to the high school girl revealed his actions. The court sentenced M.K. to a total of 10 years, 3 months, and 22 days in prison, including 7 years and 6 months for 'sexual abuse of a child by means of harassment' and 2 years, 9 months, and 22 days for 'sexual harassment', without applying any reductions.

"HE SQUEEZED MY HIP AS HE PASSED BY"

The reasoned decision noted that M.K. used terms like 'my dear' and 'my love' in the messages he sent to the young girl. High school student B.D. described the disgusting harassment she experienced in her testimony at the court. B.D. stated, "The cameras do not see the stairs that the teachers use. At a time when my friends were going up and I was left behind, the defendant squeezed my hip as he passed by. He was jealous of my male friends at school. He would act jealously in a way that was inappropriate for a teacher, saying things like 'If you want, go sit next to him, hold his hand, are you two in a relationship?'"

"I AM BEING SLANDERED"

The detained teacher M.K. defended himself by saying, "I am being slandered. I do not accept the accusations stated in the indictment."
