A cat that was found to be used to smuggle drugs into a prison in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region was caught by officials. The drugs, hidden in two handmade fabric collars around the cat's neck, were confiscated, and the animal, after being checked for health, was later released into the wild.

HIDDEN IN THE COLLAR
According to the statement, officials at prison No. 17 in the Nizhny Novgorod region determined that the cat had prohibited substances in two handmade fabric collars found on it. An examination confirmed that the substances in the collars were drugs.
RELEASED INTO THE WILD
After the drugs were taken into custody, the cat, whose health condition was checked, was reported to have been released into the wild.
