The Hajj lottery draw for 1 million 878 thousand 46 candidates dreaming of going to the holy lands has been completed. With the draw held in Ankara in the presence of a notary, those entitled to become pilgrims were determined, and the results have started to be communicated to candidates via e-Government and SMS. Final registration procedures will be carried out between July 30 and August 18.
The Hajj lottery, eagerly awaited by 1 million 878 thousand 46 pilgrims dreaming of going to the holy lands, has been completed. The draw results, held in the presence of a notary in Ankara, have been made accessible via e-Devlet.
THOSE ELIGIBLE TO GO TO THE HOLY LANDS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED
The lottery organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs included 252 thousand 708 first-time applicants this year and 1 million 625 thousand 338 candidates who updated their registrations from previous years. With the draw conducted digitally and publicly, the names eligible to go to the holy lands have been determined.
RESULTS CAN BE LEARNED VIA E-DEVLET AND SMS
With the completion of the lottery process, pilgrims can check whether they have qualified using their Turkish Republic identification numbers through the e-Devlet Gateway. Additionally, the Presidency of Religious Affairs is also sending the lottery results via SMS to the mobile phones registered in the system by the candidates.
WHEN WILL FINAL REGISTRATIONS BEGIN?
A schedule has been set for candidates whose names were drawn and who have earned the right to final registration. Final registrations will take place between July 30 and August 18. The procedures can be completed online via the e-Devlet Gateway.
