In a statement made on the ministry's social media account, it was noted that according to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy snowfall is expected on the eastern side of Giresun, the western and eastern districts of Trabzon, as well as in the interior and high areas of Rize and Artvin on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the wind expected to blow from the south and southeast along the Aegean coast is anticipated to be strong and stormy in Muğla; in Datça, Marmaris, and Bodrum, there may be strong storms in places, and strong winds and occasional storms are expected in the south and west of Aydın and the southwest of İzmir.
