Miraç İdikurt, a 5-year-old who went missing in the Ceylanpınar district of Şanlıurfa, was found motionless on the roof of their home after an 11-hour search effort. The young child, taken to the hospital, could not be saved. According to initial assessments, it is considered that Miraç was electrocuted, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
Miraç İdikurt, a 5-year-old who was reported missing in the Ceylanpınar district of Şanlıurfa, was found dead on the roof of his home.
The incident occurred in the Büyük Yenice Rural Neighborhood of Ceylanpınar district. After the young Miraç left home around noon, his family, unable to reach him, reported the situation to health, AFAD, and gendarmerie teams.
FOUND ON THE ROOF 11 HOURS LATER
Upon the report, an extensive search operation was launched in the area. Gendarmerie, AFAD, search and rescue teams, and citizens searched the vicinity for hours. The teams found the young child motionless on the roof of their home around 11:30 p.m., approximately 11 hours later.
IT IS ASSESSED THAT HE WAS ELECTROCUTED
Miraç İdikurt, who received initial intervention at the scene, was taken by ambulance to Ceylanpınar State Hospital. However, despite all efforts by the doctors, he could not be saved.
According to initial assessments, it is believed that the young child was electrocuted, while it was learned that the exact cause of death will be clarified after an autopsy. The investigation into the incident continues.
