Based on this data, the number of foreign visitors to Turkey in the January-February period of this year increased by 0.03% compared to the same period last year, reaching 4 million 343 thousand 60. Turkey is among the most preferred countries for tourists in its geography.

In the previous year and the first two months of 2025, the total number of foreign tourists visiting Turkey was recorded as 56 million 972 thousand 343.

The country that sent the most visitors to Turkey in January and February was Iran, with 463 thousand 865 people. Following Iran were Russia with 371 thousand 344 people and Germany with 330 thousand 70 people. Bulgaria and England followed Germany in the ranking. In terms of the provinces where visitors entered the country, Istanbul ranked first, followed by Edirne, Antalya, Artvin, and Hakkari.
