Yaren Mercan, a student at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, lost her life when she was hit by a car while riding her motorcycle in Kayseri. The young girl's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy, while the moment of the accident was captured on camera.
A heartbreaking accident occurred on Sayer Street in the Mevlana Neighborhood of the Talas district in Kayseri in the evening hours. A car driven by K.E. collided with a motorcycle driven by Yaren Mercan (22).
MEDICAL STUDENT DIED
The driver Yaren Mercan, who fell from the overturned motorcycle, was thrown several meters and seriously injured. Upon notification from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Mercan, a fourth-year student at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, passed away in the morning despite all the doctors' interventions. Mercan's body was taken to the Kayseri State Hospital morgue for autopsy procedures.
