The truck of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's police teams fell into the sea due to loss of control. While the two police officers inside managed to escape on their own, all teams were dispatched to the area for the recovery of the truck.

A truck belonging to the municipal police teams of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) crashed into the barriers of a bridge in Aytekin Kotil Park in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul after the driver lost control of the steering wheel and then fell into the sea.

TWO OFFICERS RESCUED BY THEIR OWN MEANS

While part of the vehicle was submerged in water, the two municipal police officers inside managed to get out of the sea by their own means. Upon notification, fire, police, health, and municipal police teams were dispatched to the area. The first intervention for the municipal police, who were in good health, was made at the municipal police booth in the area.
