Chilling details have emerged regarding the murder of Gülden Coni, who was killed with 30 knife stabs by 15-year-old E.A. in a schoolyard in Edirne. The indictment revealed that E.A. talked about the murder to his friends and requested underwear, claiming he would be the "cell leader" in prison. The indictment states that one day before the murder, E.A. had a dispute with Gülden Coni's friend, went to this person's house with his family and made threats, and then proposed a meeting with Coni. On the day of the incident, E.A. met with Gülden Coni and went to the area around the lathe workshop at the back of Edirne Vocational High School, where it is stated in the indictment that after a conversation lasting about an hour, he stabbed Gülden 30 times with a knife he brought with him, and that three of the stab wounds were fatal.
WENT TO WORK AFTER THE MURDER
The indictment includes information that E.A. left the crime scene after taking the victim's mobile phone, changed his clothes, broke the phone, and then went to the barbershop where he worked using his father's motorcycle.
UP TO 24 YEARS IN PRISON SOUGHT
The indictment requests that E.A., who was arrested after the murder, be sentenced to imprisonment of 18 to 24 years for the crime of "deliberately killing a child with premeditation, in a cruel manner, and causing suffering." The lawyer of the Coni family, Çağrı Muştu, stated in a written statement that the indictment prepared has been accepted by the Edirne 3rd High Criminal Court. Muştu expressed that they want justice to be served as soon as possible and that they will do what is necessary for the defendant to be punished as a result of the trial.

The indictment also includes messages where the murder suspect said he would soon enter prison and would be the dormitory chief, and that his friends responded to his messages asking, "Do you have money?"
WHAT HAPPENED?
On April 5, citizens who saw a person lying motionless in the yard of a school in Edirne's Çavuşbey neighborhood reported the incident. Upon arrival, the medical teams determined that 16-year-old Gülden Coni had been stabbed to death, and the suspect, 15-year-old E.A., was taken into custody by the police. After the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the judge.
