The suspect in the murder of police officer Şeyda Yılmaz, who was killed while trying to apprehend a suspect with 26 criminal records in Ümraniye, Istanbul, has been transferred from Metris Prison to a prison in Erzincan.

The suspect who shot and martyred police officer Şeyda Yılmaz in Ümraniye, Istanbul, has been transferred from Metris Prison to a prison in Erzincan.

On September 23 in Ümraniye, during the efforts to capture the 19-year-old suspect Yunus Emre Geçti, who had 26 criminal records, police officer Şeyda Yılmaz was martyred. The suspect Yunus Emre Geçti was arrested for the crime of "deliberately killing a public official due to their duty" and was placed in Metris Prison. The suspect Geçti has been transferred to the prison in Erzincan. Geçti was photographed at Erzincan Yıldırım Akbulut Airport under the supervision of gendarmerie, with his hands handcuffed, face masked, and wearing a hat.
