The suspect who shot and martyred police officer Şeyda Yılmaz in Ümraniye, Istanbul, has been transferred from Metris Prison to a prison in Erzincan. On September 23 in Ümraniye, during the efforts to capture the 19-year-old suspect Yunus Emre Geçti, who had 26 criminal records, police officer Şeyda Yılmaz was martyred. The suspect Yunus Emre Geçti was arrested for the crime of "deliberately killing a public official due to their duty" and was placed in Metris Prison. The suspect Geçti has been transferred to the prison in Erzincan.
