SMUGGLED FROM IRAN

As a result of months of technical and physical surveillance, a 4-story villa connected to a large amount of drugs came under the police radar. Accordingly, police teams determined that the methamphetamine-type drugs smuggled from Iran into Turkey would be processed by chemists referred to as 'doctors' within the network. Following the investigations, an operation was conducted at the villa in question. - A dog named 'Ares', which was poisoned by drugs on a suspect's clothing, died. While the police were raiding, 3 suspects in the house attempted to escape by jumping from the upper floors of the villa but were caught by the teams. At that moment, a narcotic-sensitive dog named 'Ares', supporting the special operations teams during the operation, neutralized a suspect by grabbing his leg as he tried to jump out of the window. The police dog, affected and poisoned by the drugs on the suspect, died at the scene. - The network used a signal device to track the police. In the operation conducted at 8 different addresses and 4 separate vehicles in the districts of Esenyurt, Bağcılar, Esenler, and Bayrampaşa, over 3 tons of drugs were seized, and 8 suspects were arrested.

17 SUSPECTS DETAINED

While the suspects were taken to the Istanbul Police Department for their statements, it was revealed that during a detailed search of the house, individuals belonging to the criminal network had purchased 'signal detection devices' to detect police activities in advance. After their procedures at the police station, 17 of the suspects brought to the public prosecutor's office were arrested. It was learned that among those arrested was a DJ named K.Ö., who performed music programs at entertainment venues.
