The operation, named 'Narkoçelik-44', was conducted at 8 different addresses and 4 separate vehicles in the districts of Esenyurt, Bağcılar, Esenler, and Bayrampaşa, centered in Büyükçekmece. It was stated that operations were carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Branch between October 17 and November 31 to prevent the crime of "Drug Trafficking" and to identify and capture suspicious individuals in the districts of Esenyurt, Kadıköy, Beyoğlu, and Eyüpsultan. As a result of the operations conducted on warehouses and a truck, a total of 25 suspects were arrested, including 3 from a workshop in a villa, and over 3 tons of methamphetamine, skunk, and heroin were seized.

At that moment, a narcotic-sensitive dog named 'Ares', supporting the special operations teams during the operation, neutralized a suspect by grabbing his leg as he tried to jump out of the window. The police dog, affected and poisoned by the drugs on the suspect, died at the scene. - The network used a signal device to track the police. In the operation conducted at 8 different addresses and 4 separate vehicles in the districts of Esenyurt, Bağcılar, Esenler, and Bayrampaşa, over 3 tons of drugs were seized, and 8 suspects were arrested.

17 SUSPECTS DETAINED

While the suspects were taken to the Istanbul Police Department for their statements, it was revealed that during a detailed search of the house, individuals belonging to the criminal network had purchased 'signal detection devices' to detect police activities in advance. After their procedures at the police station, 17 of the suspects brought to the public prosecutor's office were arrested. It was learned that among those arrested was a DJ named K.Ö., who performed music programs at entertainment venues. Additionally, it was reported that the statement procedures of 8 suspects at the police station are still ongoing.
