In the investigation related to the armed conflict between two neighboring families in the Serdivan district of Sakarya, where 5 people lost their lives and 6 others were injured, the number of individuals taken into custody has risen to 12.

A dispute between two families living on 3167th Street in the Beşköprü neighborhood of the Serdivan district escalated into an armed conflict. The sound of gunfire caused panic and fear in the surrounding area, resulting in the deaths of Yaşar Özyurt, Özgür Özyurt, Onur Özyurt, Volkan Yıldız, and Fahri Yıldız, while 6 others were injured.

NUMBER OF ARRESTS INCREASED

Following the armed conflict, security forces took action and initially detained 9 people, including the injured. In the investigation coordinated by the Sakarya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Branch detained 3 more individuals.

The treatment of Samet Yıldız (23), Sabri Tamer (27) Yıldız, and F.U.U. (17), who were injured and in critical condition, is continuing under police supervision at the hospital, while Galip Özyurt (39), who is not in critical condition, is also receiving treatment. The interrogations of Fatih Kurt (17), Nihat Yıldız (39), Nurettin Yıldız (48), Bayram Yıldız (32), and Bayram Yıldız (45), as well as 3 other suspects whose names are not known, are ongoing.
