HOTEL MANAGER ALSO IN CUSTODY
As part of the investigation carried out after the incident, the interrogations of 5 people, including hotel manager T.D., who was taken into custody yesterday, are ongoing.
A fire broke out yesterday morning at a hotel in Uludağ, and the fire was extinguished by 110 personnel dispatched from various public institutions and organizations to the region upon notification.
MOTHER SERIOUSLY INJURED
In the fire, Yahya Usta, the President of the Turkish Ski and Snowboard Instructors Association and a former national skier, his wife Fikriye, and their national skier son Berkin Usta (25) were affected by smoke. Yahya Usta and his son Berkin, who were taken out of the hotel unconscious, could not be saved despite the intervention. Fikriye Usta, who is in critical condition, was transferred to Bursa High Specialization Training and Research Hospital.
