The star of "Kızılcık Şerbeti," Ceren Karakoç, was a guest on the "Empathy" program presented by Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan. In the program, Karakoç shared unknown details about herself, moving both Taylan and the audience emotionally.
"I LEARNED A LOT FROM MY FATHER"
The famous actress said, "I was in elementary school when my mother was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor. My mother was going to Ankara every 15 days. My father couldn't go to support her because we had two children at home."
Describing her father's actions, Ceren Karakoç stated, "My father would wake up in the morning and take care of everything from our tahini to our molasses, he would be involved in our lessons, and he cared about everything we ate. I learned many things from my father. I learned to make my bed from my father. I shared my most special things with my father first," she expressed.
"MY CHILDHOOD WAS SPENT WITHOUT MY MOTHER"
"This was also a sad situation; after my mother left, I would sleep with my father. I used to sleep by smelling my mother's pajamas. My childhood was without my mother, and that period was tough for me. I attribute my ability to stand strong today to my father's endless love," said Karakoç, who also shared the story of how she met her husband, Osman Karakoç.
Ceren Karakoç said, "While working in Ankara, we were working in the same company but in different jobs. We would run into each other during lunch breaks, and that's how we met. We fell in love. Osman proposed to me 5 months later; we never had such a thing in mind. I accepted immediately, and we got married 5 months later. We have been married since 2013," she stated.
