An elderly man was injured after a 14-year-old child punched him in the face during a fight in Eskişehir.
PUNCHED THE ELDERLY MAN
The incident occurred on 2 Eylül Street in the İstiklal neighborhood of Odunpazarı district. According to the information obtained, a scuffle broke out between 14-year-old F.B.A. and 70-year-old C.Y., who were previously acquainted, for an unknown reason. The young individual allegedly punched the elderly man. Following the punch, the elderly man collapsed to the ground, and his nose began to bleed.
HOSPITALIZED
Police teams present on the street intervened in the incident. Citizens at the scene alerted health teams for the injured elderly man. After receiving first aid, the elderly man was taken to Yunus Emre State Hospital for treatment.
The 14-year-old child, apprehended by the Eskişehir Provincial Police Department's Juvenile Bureau teams, was taken to the police station for processing. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
