PITBULL INJURES 2 CHILDREN

The incident occurred last night in the Yapracık neighborhood of Etimesgut, Ankara. The pitbull attacked 1.5-year-old Efe Öztürk and his sister Doğa Öztürk as they returned home after shopping. The dog first attacked Efe Öztürk's face and then injured Doğa Öztürk's chest.

OWNER OF THE DOG ARRESTED

The injured children were taken to Bilkent City Hospital by health teams, and it was learned that their lives were not in danger. The owner of the pitbull, T.Ö.E., was detained by security teams. The suspect, who was referred to the Western Courthouse, was arrested by the duty magistrate court for "causing injury to multiple people with conscious negligence."
