An astonishing incident occurred at the Adana Bus Station. As the bus driver's legal driving time expired, one of the passengers took over the steering wheel, which divided the passengers into two groups. Some passengers reacted negatively to this situation, while others suggested, "Let's give it a chance," and wanted the journey to continue.
Last night, an incident at Adana Bus Terminal, one of Turkey's busiest bus terminals, caused both surprise and concern. When the driver of a long-distance bus could not continue driving due to having reached the legal driving time limit, an unexpected development occurred: one of the passengers took over the steering wheel.
The incident took place at Adana Bus Terminal in the evening. After hours of travel, the bus driver reached the end of the legally designated daily driving time. The driver stated that he could not take the wheel without resting and said that the bus could not continue on its way. However, a backup driver could not be provided by the company in a short time.
PASSENGERS WERE DIVIDED
At that moment, one of the passengers on the bus offered to take the wheel, stating that he had a driver's license and long-distance driving experience. While some passengers supported this suggestion, others reacted strongly due to safety concerns.
"LET'S NOT WASTE TIME, LET'S GIVE IT A CHANCE"
After the incident, a brief crisis occurred on the bus. Some passengers approved the passenger driving the bus by saying, "Let's not waste time, let's give it a chance," while others reacted to the bus company, stating, "Our lives are being played with. This is unacceptable!"
