The will of Volkan Konak, who passed away from a heart attack while giving a concert in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has resurfaced in the news. Konak had stated, "Please do not bury me in the ground when I die. They should burn my entire body. And they should put my ashes in a box and scatter them over my Black Sea, especially over my Trabzon."
During his program in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Volkan Konak collapsed on stage and passed away in the hospital he was taken to. In a statement from the Ministry of Health of the TRNC regarding the 58-year-old artist's death, it was stated, "Volkan Konak unfortunately passed away at 00:42 despite all interventions."

Years ago, Volkan Konak revealed his will during a concert. The artist, who did not want to be buried, wished for his body to be cremated and his ashes scattered over Trabzon.

The artist explained his will with the following words; "This is my will to you, my loved ones, please do not bury me in the ground when I die. Burn my entire body. And put it in a box and scatter all my ashes over the Black Sea with a helicopter. Especially over my Trabzon."
