In a later statement, Atilla indicated that he learned the details of the incident and expressed his reaction with the following words:
"It was Erdal Beşikçioğlu, known for the Behzat Ç. series and currently sitting in the Etimesgut Mayor's chair, who stuck another person's name on my father's gravestone. They used the grave to film Behzat Ç. How shameless is this, Mr. Erdal? Is my father's grave a filming set? Did you get my permission? Is it a coincidence that you chose my father's grave among thousands of graves? Is it because I criticized you a few times on TV that you showed this disrespect? I will hold you accountable in every legitimate way."
"WHY WASN'T I CONTACTED?"
Journalist Atilla directed the following questions to those responsible for the incident:
"Why wasn't I contacted before using my father's grave as a film set? I would never have allowed such a thing. Who gave this permission, and on what grounds? Were the shootings done without permission? Why didn't the authorities even apologize after the incident came to light? Why is Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu still silent?"
Atilla emphasized that he would fully exercise his legal rights regarding the issue, stating that the incident was unacceptable.
In his last post on social media, Atilla mentioned that he was called by Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, saying, "I didn't see it because you called me from my old number.
