The payment date for the retirement holiday bonus has been clarified. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated, "The holiday bonuses and monthly payments for our retired citizens will be deposited into their bank accounts between March 14 and March 19, before the Ramadan holiday."

NO RAISE THIS YEAR
Last year, holiday bonuses were deposited as 4,000 TL. This year, no decision has been made to increase the holiday bonus for retirees.
4,000 LIRA WILL BE PAID FOR BOTH HOLIDAYS
To increase the welfare of retirees, a holiday bonus was implemented in 2018, providing payments to retirees and their beneficiaries twice a year during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha.
The bonus, which started at 1,000 lira for each holiday in 2018, was raised to 1,100 lira in 2021, 2,000 lira in 2023, 3,000 lira in 2024, and 4,000 lira for 2025. The holiday bonuses, which will benefit 17 million citizens, will be paid in the same amount in 2026 as well.
