A person who was alleged to have attempted to burn the Turkish flag hanging on a rope between the trees in Bursa distanced himself after a woman passing by reacted. Those moments were captured on a mobile phone.
Due to the commemoration of Atatürk on May 19 and the Youth and Sports Day, Atatürk photographs and Turkish flags were hung in many places in the city of Bursa. On Fevzi Çakmak Street in the central Osmangazi district, a Turkish flag hanging on a rope between trees in the median was allegedly attempted to be set on fire by an unidentified person during the night.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF, DON'T DRIVE ME CRAZY"
Meanwhile, a woman passing by shouted at the man who was trying to set the flag on fire, saying, "Get your hands off. Who do you think you are? Don't drive me crazy." The panicked man quickly fled the area on foot. Those moments were recorded by another person on a mobile phone and shared on social media.
