The person who vandalized the grave of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death in Kadıköy, Istanbul, has been caught and detained by the police. It has been learned that the individual is 67 years old.
The grave of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life in a knife attack at a market in Kadıköy, Istanbul, was vandalized by unidentified individuals on the day the trial was to take place. After the police completed their investigations, municipal teams went to the cemetery area and rebuilt the dismantled fences. Later, the uprooted flowers were replanted, and the scattered toys were carefully collected and placed at the head of Mattia's grave.
THE PERSON WHO VANDALIZED MINGUZZI'S GRAVE HAS BEEN CAUGHT
While the investigation initiated ex officio regarding the vandalism of the grave in the cemetery continues, a special team has been formed at the Istanbul Police Department to capture the perpetrators. As part of the investigation, a 67-year-old individual was caught and detained by police teams in Istanbul.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the issue, saying: "As a result of the work carried out by our Istanbul Police Department regarding the vandalism of the grave of our child Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life in a knife attack in Istanbul, a suspect named D.A., aged 67, has been caught and detained. I once again wish God's mercy upon our child Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi and offer my condolences to his family."
