In the examination conducted by the police teams, it was determined that 40-year-old Güneş was a victim of murder, and his lifeless body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Police teams launched a large-scale investigation following the incident.
THEY CALLED HIM HOME AND STRANGLED HIM
In the investigations conducted by the teams, R.Ş., the last person Güneş was in contact with, and his wife A.Ş. were taken into custody as suspects. It was learned that in their initial statements, R.Ş. and his husband A.Ş. claimed that they called Turgut Güneş to their home in the Akşemsettin neighborhood on June 27, due to the allegation that Güneş was constantly harassing and bothering R.Ş., and that they strangled Güneş during a dispute that arose there, and then transported the body by vehicle to the Sulutas neighborhood and buried it.

After completing their procedures at the police station, the murder suspects R.Ş. and A.Ş. were taken to the Konya Numune Hospital for a health check and then referred to the court.
