The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Discipline Committee announced the penalties imposed on referees involved in the betting scandal. While it was decided to continue the investigation regarding top-tier referee Zorbay Küçük and Melih Kurt, as well as category referee Mertcan Tubay, the refereeing licenses of 149 referees were terminated due to the imposition of bans exceeding 45 days on them.
The Turkish Football Federation announced the penalties given to those referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board for allegedly playing bets through its website. According to the PFDK's decision, it was decided that the investigation regarding Zorbay Küçük, Melih Kurt, and Mertcan Tubay would continue.
149 REFEREES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED
Other 149 referees referred to the PFDK were given penalties of deprivation of rights ranging from 8 to 12 months. Due to the penalties exceeding 45 days, the refereeing rights of the 149 referees were terminated.

1- Class Assistant Referee ABDULLAH YALÇINKAYA was penalized with a 8 MONTH DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS due to betting actions, considering the intensity of the action in accordance with Article 57 of the FDT.
