Fenerbahçe have reached a happy ending in the transfer of Kojo Peprah Oppong, who plays for Nice. The 22-year-old Ghanaian centre-back, with whom the yellow-navy club have reached an agreement, is coming to Istanbul with his manager to undergo medical checks.
Fenerbahce, who advanced to the league stage in the Champions League, took an important step in their defensive reinforcement. The yellow-navy club reached an agreement for the transfer of Kojo Peprah Oppong, who plays for Nice.
According to Yagiz Sabuncuoglu's report, the Ghanaian defender, with whom Fenerbahce has reached an agreement, and his manager are coming to Istanbul for medical checks.
OPPONG IS COMING TO ISTANBUL
Following the agreement reached in transfer negotiations, preparations have begun for the 22-year-old centre-back's journey to Istanbul. Oppong is expected to come to Istanbul with his manager and undergo medical checks. After the checks, the official procedures in the transfer process are expected to continue.
FENERBAHCE HAD MADE AN OFFER EXCEEDING 10 MILLION EUROS
French media outlet L'Equipe had announced that Fenerbahce submitted an official offer exceeding 10 million euros to Nice for Oppong. Subsequently, negotiations between the two clubs accelerated, and it was stated that the yellow-navy club had reached an agreement with Nice regarding the transfer of the Ghanaian defender.
NICE HAD TRANSFERRED HIM FOR 2.7 MILLION EUROS
Nice had brought Oppong into their squad last summer from Swedish team Norrkoping for 2.7 million euros. The 22-year-old footballer, who has a contract with the French club until June 2029, is expected to complete his transfer process to Fenerbahce after his medical checks.
