Gülben Ergen responded to Destici's statement made at her party's Adıyaman Provincial Congress. In a post on her social media account, Ergen announced that she would file a lawsuit and that she would open another kindergarten with the compensation she wins.
In her post, Ergen stated: "Destici, don't forget I am hiring a lawyer, not holding a grudge. For a few applause, you directed ugly accusations and an othering tone towards me, who has dedicated her life to children and women, and I will hold both accountable."

Ergen emphasized that she would open another kindergarten with the compensation she wins and said, "You will make your defense to the state prosecutors. I will open a new kindergarten with the compensation I will win. You will apologize to the people of Adıyaman, to me, and to my association that works for the benefit of society and the preschool education of children."
Gülben Ergen said in her statement: "Have you ever opened a kindergarten in your life? I have opened 60. Have you visited Rojin's parents and followed the course of the case? Have you protested on concrete with the grieving mother of Ahmet Minguzi, rising against the execution law, and cried out against injustice? Have you personally followed the Narin case, attended its court, and sought justice? Are you aware of the death of Sıla Baby?
