A woman named G.K. living in the Çarşamba district of Samsun reported to the police that when she returned home, there was damage to the door lock, she could not enter, and she suspected a burglary.
JEWELRY WORTH 500 THOUSAND TL WAS STOLEN
In the examination conducted with the help of a locksmith under police supervision, it was claimed that the rooms were messy and jewelry worth approximately 500 thousand TL was stolen.
POLICE'S SUSPICION RUINED THE GAME
In the investigation conducted by the Theft Bureau of the Public Order Branch and the Çarşamba District Police Department, it was determined that the mess in the house was not caused by a burglary and that the damage to the door was intentionally created. Upon the woman's contradictory statements, the police deepened their suspicions.
CONFESSED DURING INTERROGATION
G.K., 36 years old, confessed during her interrogation that she had created the mess in the house, forced the door lock herself, and paid off her debts by selling the jewelry.
LEGAL ACTION HAS BEEN INITIATED
Upon the instruction of the public prosecutor, legal action has been initiated against G.K. for the crime of 'fabricating a crime.'
