The Super League team, Gaziantep Football Club, has re-elected Memik Yılmaz as president. Mehmet Büyükekşi, the former president of the Turkish Football Federation, also openly supported Memik Yılmaz at the congress.
Memik Yılmaz has been re-elected as the president of Gaziantep Football Club, a team in the Trendyol Super League.
In the ordinary general assembly meeting held at Gaziantep Metropolitan Stadium, Memik Yılmaz renewed his mandate in the election, which was conducted with a single list. After the reading of activity reports and the approval of the management's financial and administrative matters, Memik Yılmaz took office for the second time.
MEHMET BÜYÜKEKŞİ SHOWED SUPPORT
Mehmet Büyükekşi, the former president of TFF, who came to Gaziantep Metropolitan Stadium for the general assembly, openly showed his support for Memik Yılmaz.

President Yılmaz thanked those who trusted him and re-elected him. Emphasizing that the election was conducted with a single list, Yılmaz said, "Hopefully, we will look ahead from now on. I sincerely thank the people of Gaziantep and the football community."
'THE GOAL IS TO DETERMINE A NEW COACH'
Yılmaz mentioned that they are in discussions with both local and foreign names regarding the head coach position, stating, "We will hold a meeting with the friends in the new board of directors and determine our new head coach within 1-2 weeks. Our work is ongoing. We have 18 players under contract. In addition, we plan to acquire 4-5 key players. We aim to complete these transfers and start the camp fully." he expressed.
