In Eskişehir, a woman who went to the countryside with her husband experienced a brief panic when a tick attached to her back, but the tick was removed healthily with a procedure at the hospital. After it was learned that the tick was non-toxic, the woman was vaccinated.

THOUGHT IT WAS A PIMPLE AT FIRST

Fevzi Oral (56) and his wife Serpil Oral (39), who live in Eskişehir, went to their hobby garden located in the countryside near the city during the Eid al-Adha holiday. When they returned home after the holiday, Serpil Oral noticed a bump on her back that she initially thought was a pimple, but soon realized it was a tick.

RESCUED WITH THE NURSE'S INTERVENTION

The woman, who did not touch the tick and went to Eskişehir State Hospital without wasting time, was freed from the tick attached to her back with a quick intervention by the nurse. After the procedure, Oral was vaccinated and is currently continuing her life in a healthy manner.

"WE WERE SCARED BECAUSE TICKS CAN BE POISONOUS"

Fevzi Oral mentioned that they panicked after noticing the tick and went directly to the hospital, saying, "We didn't lie down on the ground in the garden, but while watering our flowers, a tick got attached to my wife. We noticed it later. We went to Eskişehir City Hospital. The authorities removed the tick and vaccinated my wife. Thus, we regained our health. My wife noticed the tick when it got stuck to her hand. At first, we didn't understand what it was; we thought it was a pimple or something else. When we went to the hospital, they detected the presence of the tick and removed it immediately. Of course, we were scared because ticks can be poisonous. That's why we went to the hospital with concern. It was best to go to the hospital instead of trying to intervene ourselves. The experts there are professionals in this field. The male nurse removed the tick, the vaccination was done, and we regained our health. One should not pull the tick out by hand because some parts of the tick can remain in the skin. The best thing is to go to a healthcare institution and have the tick removed there. I recommend this to everyone," he said.
