HELICOPTER MOVED TO A SAFE AREA

No one was injured during the incident. In videos shared on social media, it was seen that security forces pushed the helicopter to a safer location. Despite the events, President Murmu continued with the planned 4-day visit program without interruption.

"THE CONCRETE HAD NOT FULLY CURED"

A senior official from the police department stated in an interview with the Indian media that the landing site of the helicopter was changed at the last moment, which is why the helicopter runway was prepared hours before the landing at the stadium. The official said, "The concrete had not fully cured yet. Therefore, when the helicopter landed, it could not support its weight, and depressions occurred where the wheels touched the ground."
