The producer of Tehran, Israeli Dana Eden, was found dead in a hotel room in Athens. The 52-year-old Eden, who was in Greece for the filming of the fourth season of the series, was discovered after his brother reported to the police when he did not receive responses to his messages.
BRUISING DETECTED IN THE NECK AREA
According to information obtained from Greek security sources by international news agencies, a large number of medication tablets were found at the scene.
In the initial examination by forensic experts, bruising was detected in Eden's neck area, while investigative authorities are considering the possibility that the incident is a case of "suicide" based on the existing evidence and witness statements.
HE HAD WON AN EMMY AWARD
The Tehran series, which focuses on the operation of a Mossad agent in Tehran, won the 'Best Drama' award at the 49th Emmy Awards in 2021.
