The referee team for the match between Turkey and Paraguay in Group D of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been announced. According to FIFA's statement, the match, which will be played on Saturday, June 20 at 06:00 Turkish time at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, will be officiated by Ivan Barton from the El Salvador Football Federation.
ASSISTANTS ALSO ANNOUNCED
David Moran and Antonio Pupiro will serve as Ivan Barton's assistants in the match. The fourth official of the match will be Jamaican Oshane Nation, while Caleb Wales from the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation will act as the reserve assistant referee.
WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE
34-year-old Ivan Barton has previously officiated important matches on the World Cup stage. The Salvadoran referee blew the whistle in the 2022 World Cup match where Germany lost 2-1 to Japan.

Barton also refereed the group match where Brazil defeated Switzerland 1-0 and the round of 16 match where England beat Senegal 3-0 to advance to the quarter-finals during the tournament in Qatar.
