The first hearing of the case in which singer Serdar Ortaç is being tried for "illegal betting advertisement and promotion" took place at the 25th Criminal Court of First Instance in the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. It was requested that Serdar Ortaç, who had difficulty even walking while going to the hearing, be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison.
