The screenwriter of the series "Kızılcık Şerbeti," Merve Göntem, was taken into custody last night under the instruction of the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Press Crimes Investigation Bureau due to statements she made in an interview four years ago.
'INCITEMENT TO PROSTITUTION' AND 'INCITEMENT TO COMMIT A CRIME' ALLEGATIONS
It has been learned that an investigation has been initiated against Göntem on charges of "incitement to prostitution" and "incitement to commit a crime." The detained screenwriter was brought to the Anadolu Courthouse after her procedures at the police station.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
After the prosecutor's interrogation, Merve Göntem was brought before the duty magistrate and was released under judicial control conditions.
